In this article im going to give you a short book summary One of the best self-help book I've ever read named " Who Will Cry When You Die ? " By Robin Sharma I've always thought this particular genre as not-so-interesting, but I've never actually tried it before 😑....I'm definitely not prone to prejudice! Anyway, I really really liked this one. There are 101 chapters or as the blurb says "101 simple solutions to life's most complex problems". I agree! Its been a while since I read it but I find myself thinking about this book every now and then and subconsciously trying to follow what it says. I even try to wake up early. 😃 So it definitely impacted me. Lesson 36 is to read "Tuesdays With Morrie" so I'll be trying that one next. This book provides advice on how to be the best version of yourself and lead a full and generous life, and when you die your loved ones will cry n

SYNOPSIS:
Twenty-five years ago, Charlie Crabtree, a dark and sinister kid always lurking on the outside of the group of teenage friends, committed a shocking murder that lived on in dark corners of the internet and fascinated more than one copy cat killer.
Paul Adams remembers the case all too well, as Crabtree and his victims were Paul’s friends. Despite his efforts to put his dark past behind him, Paul is brought back to his hometown after his mother’s health has taken a turn for the worse.
It’s not long after arriving back in town before things start to go wrong. Paul’s mother is convinced there is something lurking in their home, & someone is following Paul. Which reminds him of that day twenty-five years ago, when Paul and his friends believed they could escape into The Shadows, and then one of them did.
This was a hard one for me to review without giving much away! So here’s a breakdown of what I liked & didn’t like, & if you’re interested in more of my thoughts, keep reading!
. "THE SHADOWS"
WHAT I LIKED:
•Creepy, unsettling characters and visuals
•Storyline of misfit friends doing weird things
•Detective/investigative aspects
•Connections were not too easy to figure out
•An ending I did not see coming, but also made sense
•Lucid dream aspects
•One pretty big “oh sh*t” moment
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
•Bounces around a lot with then & now chapters, also bounces between past and present within one chapter
•Sometimes not sure if in present or past, dream or reality
Friends, I can’t wait for you all to read this one! Alex North has done it again. I’ve gotten a few questions asking if I felt this is better than The Whisper Man (North’s debut novel), which I haven’t reviewed here on my page but is a 5 ⭐️ read for me. I have to say that these stories are both uniquely creepy and excellent! I believe fans of The Whisper Man will LOVE The Shadows. If you haven’t read North’s work before & choose to start with"THE SHADOWS", you wont be disappointed!
