So worth the hype. " A BURNING " by Megha Majumdar is very political, very real. The tale is told through the lives of three characters - Jivan, a Muslim girl who dreams of becoming 'middle class' but lands up in jail because of a Facebook Post criticizing the government (ahem, rings a bell?); PT sir, whose adventures with a political party bring him ever so close to power; and Lovely - the true-spirited and honest aspiring actress who has to battle with the society on the account of being a transwoman.
