Who will cry when you die ? By Robin Sharma | Book Summary and Review

In this article im going to give you a short book summary One of the best self-help book I've ever read named               " Who Will Cry When You Die ? "                                             By Robin Sharma  I've always thought this particular genre as not-so-interesting, but I've never actually tried it before 😑....I'm definitely not prone to prejudice! Anyway, I really really liked this one. There are 101 chapters or as the blurb says "101 simple solutions to life's most complex problems". I agree! Its been a while since I read it but I find myself thinking about this book every now and then and subconsciously trying to follow what it says. I even try to wake up early. 😃 So it definitely impacted me. Lesson 36 is to read "Tuesdays With Morrie" so I'll be trying that one next. This book provides advice on how to be the best version of yourself and lead a full and generous life, and when you die your loved ones will cry n

#16 SUHELDEV The King Who Saved India | Book summary & Review by A Book Monk

In this article im going to give you a very astonishing book summary of 8th Book by Amish Tripathi

Amish Tripathi is just awesome. How wonderfully he narrated the the story of a less known hero of India who should be more known and famous.
Storyline sets in 11th century and covers the Ira of Muhammad Ghazni’s invasions to India and its aftermath. It unfolds the famous battle of Bahraich happened between King Suheldev -King of Indian Kingdom Shravasti and Turkish Commander Salar Maqsud. To defeat the Turks,King Suheldev forms his own army bonded together by the love for the motherland with a single goal of saving its pride and rich heritage culture from foreign invasions. The challenges faced by Suheldev due to other fellow kings is also well depicted in this historical fiction.
11th century AD, India. Repeated invasion of Turkish barbarians hordes of Ghazni had weakened north India. The old Indian kingdoms, engaged in fighting themselves are divided & easily fall to them. Those who do fight with the invaders adhering to the old codes of war are wiped out from the map by them who breaks all rules to win. But when the Turks army raids & destroy the holy temple of Somnath, a charismatic hero rise -king Suheldev of Shravasti- who will unite the divided Indian & its kingdom & formed a confederacy of 21 kings to defend the nation in the Battle of Bahraich.
The language in the book is simple & the pacing is moderate. The use of multiple character's POVs & the detailed action scenes keep me hooked. India divided on the basis of kingdoms, religion & caste is shown perfectly.
Suheldev's character development feels sudden & too early whereas Salar Maqsud's character developed gradually & makes him a fitting villain. Other characters however felt like caricature & added only to move to the plot like Tushani, the female warrior, added only to have a romantic angle in the story. The book is based more on folklores than on history. Like the presence of Malladev inside Somanth temple during Ghazni's raid/ Rajendra Chola's hand behind Mahumad's assassination/ claim that after the battle of Bahraich India was not invaded for next 150 yrs are not historical.

The climax of the book felt dramatic & certain character's stories are left open ended & makes you wonder what happens to them.
It’s over all good read. But some how it fell short to charm the readers as compared with author’s previous famous titles.
My Book Rating- 8/10
So Thanks @authoramish by writing these amazing books who reminds or teaches Indians their ancient culture and history.
                         Happy Reading ❤️

" The Immortals of Meluha " ( Meluha Ke Mrityunjay  Hindi version) is Amish's first novel and is one of the highest selling debut novels of 2010. With the Genre of mythological fiction, this book has touched many hearts and is still continuing to do so. It is entirely based on fiction and is a re-imagination of lord Shiva's life. In this novel, author Amish has regarded lord Shiva as a common man, a person of flesh and blood, like you and me and not a God. Shiva the protagonist of the story is the chief of the Guna tribe which resides in Tibet. Shiva decides to migrate from mount Kailash and travel to the land of Meluha, a highly advanced kingdom. 📚 Eventually, Shiva discovers that he is the rescuer of mankind or "The chosen one" (The Neelkanth) according to the strongly believed prediction of the Meluhans! He comes across various events that make him realise that his purpose of life is much greater and beyond The frozen land of Tibet. 📚 Alo
